Henann Regency is a mid-range to luxury beachfront resort that’s centrally located in Boracay’s Station 2. In this review I’ll cover the place in detail …

Among other things, I’ll cover its location, its best rooms, its highlight worthy amenities and how to contact the hotel. Plus I’ll also cover both its pros and cons.

About Henann Regency & Its Location

Caption: Walking towards White Beach from the Regency resort area

Regency is located right in the middle of Station 2 – just steps away from White Beach and about a 5 minute walk away from D’Mall.

The beach just south of the resort is actually my favorite area in Station 2, because it has a good amount of nature. Unfortunately the beach in front of Regency itself doesn’t have much nature, as they’ve cut a lot of the trees there. There’s plenty of shaded spots nearby though.

The hotel itself is quite large, with rooms spread over 3 different wings: the main wing, north wing and east wing. Of these 3 wings, rooms in the main wing will give you the fastest access to the beach, as it’s located just behind the hotel’s restaurants at the beachfront.

A strength of the hotel is its number of useful facilities that will make sure you’re set for almost anything that you may need during your stay. There are multiple pools throughout the hotel, several restaurants, a gym, spa, as well as business and convention center.

What the resort can improve upon is its rooms and facilities. As it’s not a new property, some rooms are showing signs of wear and tear.

  • Steps from the beach and close to D’Mall
  • Multiple pools, a gym and a spa
  • Many in-house restaurants serving a variety of cuisine
  • Rooms look a bit dated and worn

Its Most Noteworthy Amenities

One of Regency’s 6 restaurants

Regency has 6 in-house restaurants and bars dotted along its property, serving food ranging from Western cuisine to Filipino and Chinese dishes. This can be pretty convenient, though there are also plenty of other restaurants nearby.

Since the resort is quite large, there are 3 pools, one for each of the building wings. So there’s plenty of room to relax. Aside from that, there’s also a poolside bar in the east wing pool, so you can enjoy happy hour while taking a dip.

Kai Spa is the name of Regency’s in-house spa: it’s best to call ahead for a visit as it can be fully booked at times. If you like to maintain a workout during your stay, this is one of only a small number of resorts that has a gym.

My Top 3 Room Recommendations

Family Room (left) and Presidential Suite (right)

For groups the family room is a good choice as it’s a 2-bedroom unit that sleeps up to 5 in total. Family rooms also have good views overlooking the pool.

If you’re looking for quiet and privacy, the east premier room with direct pool access can be a good choice. From there you can hop into the pool right from your private veranda. It’s located in the hotel’s east wing which is further away from the beach, but it’s still just a short walk away.

For ultimate luxury the presidential suite is the way to go. Its best feature is its large balcony with an unobstructed view of White Beach. Good for 4 people, the 2 suites are lavishly decorated with marble-clad bathrooms and there are 3 TVs.
